Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

Dothan is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dothan follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My son had an arrangement delivered to me on 5/16, forgetting that I was out of town. This florist took it back to their shop and redelivered it a week later. This is the 6th day for this arrangement and it is still in great condition! The only thing I’ve done is add water. Very pleased with the flowers and the service.

I live out of the state and sent my grandmother flowers for her birthday. They went over the top! They were absolutely beautiful, delivered the day I ordered them, and in perfect condition. She was so happy!

I live out of state and sent flowers to my grandmother in the hospital. It totally made her day. She couldn’t stop raving about them. She’s happy, which means I’m happy! Highly recommend!

I wanted to order flowers from a local florist for my Mom’s 82nd birthday, partly to support local businesses and partly to ensure what I ordered is what my mom would receive. Well apparently not because I’ve attached 2 pics to this review: what was pictured on their website (and mind you I paid for the DELUXE arrangement) and the other shows what she received. Pathetic. For $67 I expect more roses LIKE WHAT WAS PICTURED ON THEIR WEBSITE, not cheap carnations (all white no red at all) and weird green stalk fillers. Not to mention it was supposed to come in a pretty red vase but nope- the vase is just a clear plain one. No I’m not wasting my time asking them to fix it because why? They’re florists and the man I talked to on the phone said they’ve been in business 40+ years so how hard is it to match a picture? I’ll never order from them again.

I bought an $81 bouquet of roses. It was a gift for my wife for our anniversary. I purchased them on October 3rd By October 10 they were completely wilted. The 1st thing I noticed when I went to pick them up was how small the roses were. I purchased a similar bouquet last year from a different florist and the roses were twice the size of these roses. For $81 These flowers should have lasted more than 6 days. I also noticed Brown spots on the pedals when I picked them up but had pre paid as required when I called in the order. Extremely disappointed would be an understatement.
